The Village Roots Foundation (VRF) is a Christian faith-based, nonprofit organization that seeks To empower, engage, and educate people from remote villages in Rwanda.
The VRF aims to Minimize/eliminate the huge disparity between life in rural areas and that in urban areas.
The Foundation focuses on developing home grown solutions to daily challenges faced by residents as Well as introducing resources such as clean water, electricity, and improved educational facilities

It goes without saying that health insurance is a lifeline for expectant mothers. Therefore, our foundation wants to subtract this load among their many needs during this time in their lives.

— Education

The Village Roots Foundation aims to minimize the disparity between the quality of education received by students in developed areas in comparison to that received by students in rural parts of Rwanda.
Impact Stories
Project highlights
Over 4,091 people are beneficiaries of this initiative. During the two months. We offered seasonal employment to approximately 120 locals for the execution of the work. The Time frame of the project fell on school holidays and this enabled us to hire a large number of the Youth.
Tasks completed
During the implementation of the project, a 3.8 miles (6.12km) pipeline was Trenched, connecting three villages. The depth of the pipeline was 3.3 feet (1 meter) deep which Follows the international standard of pipeline excavation and distribution. A 30 cubic meter tank Was constructed to serve as a storage of water, and from there, the water would flow to three Water access points in the aforementioned three villages.
